Program begins at 4 PM and will end around 5:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served.
This year’s event will feature guest speaker Paul Lawrence, President of Potomac Mitigation Bank LLC and former GCA Board Co-Chair. Paul will discuss stream restoration efforts and nutrient credits, followed by a guided tour of the Coolbrook Farm stream restoration project on Crooked Run—a tributary of Goose Creek—highlighting why protecting and monitoring our local waterways matters.
Registration: There is no charge to attend, but advance registration is required so we can plan for the number of attendees.
Note: This event involves some walking; outdoor-appropriate pants and footwear are encouraged.
