The Goose Creek Association (GCA) started in 1970 to monitor water quality, proposed developments, legislation, zoning changes, and other actions that have potential impact on the environment and quality of life in the Goose Creek watershed ofFauquier and Loudoun Counties, Virginia. In addition, we plant riparian buffers and help educate our community on conservation and the environment. We are a nonprofit 501C3 organization with hundreds of members who share a determination to protect and preserve the natural resources, historic heritage and rural quality of life found in this beautiful part of Virginia.
In September 2020 we will celebrate GCA’s 20th Anniversary and twenty years of the Goose Creek as a State Scenic River with a Family Festival. Goose Creek really is a river! At this festival, we will demonstrate our programs, show a new video about the Goose Creek, provide refreshments, and further educate and entertain the public about our river that is an essential headwater of the Potomac and Chesapeake Bay watersheds. Please join us in sponsoring this event that celebrates our clean watershed, historic heritage, and rural quality of life.
