Goose Creek Watch: Chemical, Bacterial, & Benthic Water Monitoring

Since August of 2021, The Goose Creek Association has been monitoring 6 key sites on Goose Creek and its tributaries in partnership with The Friends of Shenandoah River through their Level 3 laboratory at Shenandoah University. We will be adding benthic monitoring results in the near future in partnership with Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy. The Downstream Project is providing our Creek Watch web integrations and data management utilizing Water Reporter, a platform developed by The Commons (see map below).

(Click on individual monitoring stations and then on individual readings to see historical trends. Use the scroll bar at the base of station cards to access all parameters. The white station markers are USGS real-time flow gauges. Interaction with the map is intended for use on a desktop computer.)
