Tired of seeing all that litter by the road and creek?

Fauquier County Earth Day Cleanup!

Let’s do something about it. Together you, your family, friends and neighbors can:

• Set a date/time; put sign-up sheets at your local Post Office/library/community center

• Pick-up orange trash bags, orange traffic vests, and signs at VDOT

• Read their safety guidelines at www.virginiadot.org/programs/prog-aah-safty.asp

• Fill bags with litter (weekends are best—watch out for traffic!)

• Call VDOT with the number of volunteers, bags and location (800-367-7623); VDOT will pick bags up for disposal

• Or, just do it yourself!
